WHAT IS TANDEM SKYDIVING?
Tandem parachuting is a quick, easy introduction to free-fall and the most common entry-level jump. Using a dual harness, you are securely attached to one of our fully qualified and experienced instructors who will guide you through the whole jump from the exit, in free-fall, flying the parachute and finally the landing.
Exiting the aircraft from up to 10,000ft above the ground, you’ll experience approximately 30 seconds of free-fall – skydiving through the air at speeds up to 120 miles per hour.
WHY CHOOSE A TANDEM SKYDIVE?
Tandem skydiving is a great option as an introduction to the sport or as a once in a lifetime experience. It allows you to jump without needing extensive training – only a short brief is required on the day of your jump as it is your instructor who opens and lands the parachute.
Tandem skydiving is suitable for most people as long as you are over 16. The weight limit includes clothing and is 14 stone for women and 15 stone for men.
Take a look at our health and fitness requirements before you book.
From above our drop zone we have great views over the Firth of Forth, Edinburgh, and Fife – on a good day you will be able to see the southern Highlands in Perthshire.

Video Packages
You will be given a dedicated camera flyer to record your experience every step of the way. They’ll be in the aircraft with you and will jump out at the same time as you, falling with you until your isntructor deploys your parachute. The additional cost for a Camera Flyer is £100 for video and £110 for both video and pictures and this is payable on the day of your skydive following completion of your jump.
When required, we can offer the alternative option of an instructor generated video (Handcam). This can be offered if suitably qualified instructors are present and if there has been a high demand for video. Handcam will show you a different perspective of your skydive as it gives you a much more close up angle. It will include everything mentioned in the list above, however you’ll also get additional footage whilst flying the parachute, including your initial reaction to the free-fall phase.
Please note: Due to availability of camera flyers and the lift capacity of our aircraft (2 Tandem pairs and 1 Camera Flyer) we operate a first come, first served basis and we may need to ask you to change your choice of filming package.
“Today I had one of the most exhilarating and amazing experiences of my life as I took to the skies to do a 10,000 foot free fall tandem skydive in aid of The Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, it was just out of this world and I loved every single second. The views were phenomenal and I have now achieved a life long dream. ”
