Privacy Policy

Skydive St Andrews Ltd, operators of this website (https://skydivestandrews.co.uk/), and hereon referred to as “we”, takes each visitor’s privacy extremely seriously. If you have any questions regarding your privacy which cannot be answered with the information below, please contact us and we will be happy to clarify.

Gathering identity information

We will try our utmost to ensure we do not share with any body or party any of your provided personal contact details, except when you book online using our order form where we will share with Stripe your provided name, address and email address in order to corroborate your payment with Stripe and our own system.

We will not share your details with any other external agencies, other than in the very unlikely event of being required to do so for legal purposes.

Gathering statistics

From time to time in order to gauge the performance of our website, and to make us aware of how to improve our content, we may gather and produce a report on our web usage statistics, which will not contain any personal or identifying details, rather basic information such as “large numbers of users would often click to X page, after reading Y”. This is a widely-used web practice to judge where more work is required in web improvements.

Using personally-identifying information

We only disclose potentially personal information to our employees and affiliated organisations, such as the example of Stripe above. Your contact details will not be released to any third-party marketing companies, and will only ever be used for conducting business with you. Skydive St Andrews Ltd takes all reasonable measures required to protect against unauthorised access, use or alteration of personal information.

Photographs, video and still images

We do use video and photographs from our activity for advertising purposes, these can be on some promotional material that we produce, or within our website and on some social media platforms, namely Facebook. Any queries or requests about this subject should be directed to the Chief Instructor.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We may be required to update our privacy policy from time to time, and if we do so those changes will be published on this web page and a notice displayed on the homepage. We encourage visitors to frequently check back for any changes to the policy.
